Join us for our first digital Living Room Session. This session's theme will be on Motherhood & The Biological Clock which is often seen as the elephant in the room when it comes to women and careers. Women, who are socially expected to bear all the responsibility of birthing and raising a child, tend to have their careers affected the most. However, it is important to remember that “women are individuals as well as mothers” as stated by practising Architect & BFA member Charlene Campbell who will be hosting the event.
Is the thought of being a mother making you second-guess your decision to pursuing a career within the built environment? BFA welcomes you to discuss this topic and how it has affected you on your journey so far on Thursday 28th of May 2020 @ 6.30pm GMT+1.
Sign up before 2pm GMT +1 Thursday 27th May to receive a link to join the event!
Note: You need to be a registered BFA Member to join this event. If you have not registered yet, email membership@blackfemarc.com.
